Some seem to have a vendetta against the Duchess of Sussex.

Even before she began dating Prince Harry, Meghan Markle was a prominent figure in the entertainment world. Her role as Rachel Zane on “Suits” sprung her to stardom, which ultimately led to her meeting and then marrying Harry. Markle is accustomed to being in the public spotlight, but perhaps not even she could have imagined what life as a member of the British Royal Family would be like.

The Duchess of Sussex is constantly in the news cycle, regardless of whether she has actually done anything of note or not. Unfortunately, a lot of the reports and rumors that emerge pertaining to Markle tend to be negative, for whatever reason. She wasn’t exactly welcomed with open arms to the Royal Family, and that negativity was amplified when she and Harry stepped down as working royals.

Has Meghan Markle severed ties with old friends?

Recently, she got people talking with a stunning red dress while attending the Los Angeles Children’s Hospital Gala. In the aftermath of the event in which she was seen talking to numerous celebrities, Markle’s alienation of old friends has come to light, according to royal commentator Ingrid Seward (via The Sun).

Well, I think that Meghan has managed to alienate a lot of her former friends. She does something which is very distressing for people. She actually sort of just cuts them dead and ghosts them… And if they upset her, that’s what she does and it’s very difficult to deal with somebody like that. I think that people are just fed up with Meghan.

Those are harsh words, but it makes sense when you consider how much Markle’s life has changed over the past half-decade. Marrying into a Royal Family never would have allowed her to continue with business as usual in her personal life.

But it certainly sounds like she has rubbed some people the wrong way over the last several years.
