Princess Kate’s in-laws are happy to hear the news that the royal is officially cancer-free.
Following today’s announcement that the Princess of Wales has completed her chemotherapy treatment, King Charles III and Queen Camilla are expressing their support for their daughter-in-law as she continues down the “path to full recovery.”
A spokesperson for Buckingham Palace tells Harper’s Bazaar, “They do of course consider the details in today’s announcement to be wonderful news and will continue to offer all love, thoughts, and support to the princess on her continued path to full recovery.”

Kate announced the exciting news today in a touching video directed by Will Warr in Norfolk, England, last month. The three-minute film included intimate moments from the Waleses’ life at home, including rare PDA between Kate and husband Prince William and playful cameos by their three children, Prince George, 11, Princess Charlotte, 9, and Prince Louis, 6.

“The last nine months have been incredibly tough for us as a family,” Kate says in a voiceover in the video. “Life as you know it can change in an instant, and we’ve had to find a way to navigate the stormy waters and road unknown.”

“This time has above all reminded William and me to reflect and be grateful for the simple yet important things in life, which so many of us often take for granted. Of simply loving and being loved,” she continues. “Doing what I can to stay cancer-free is now my focus. Although I’ve finished chemotherapy, my path to healing and full recovery is long and I must continue to take each day as it comes.”
Kate’s bond with Charles, who himself was diagnosed with cancer in February, has reportedly grown over the past year.
