The marriage of Prince Charles and Princess Diana is quite a surprising and sad story. It began with a lot of excitement and was even called the “wedding of the century,” but it ended with their divorce and the tragic death of Princess Diana. Their fairy-tale romance turned into something very unhappy and distressing for many people. The relationship was filled with affairs and unhappiness. So, what really happened behind closed doors? What caused their marriage to fall apart? Let’s dive into the story of this once-celebrated marriage that ended up being so remarkable yet so tragic.
Well, this is certainly not a good look, and especially not for the leader of the monarchy. There’s a new report that suggests King Charles is once again acting tone-deaf when it comes to public opinion. But this time around it has to do with his little brother, Prince Andrew.
Royal Family News – Is King Charles Being Tone Deaf Again?
A lot of people have made it pretty clear that they don’t think Prince Andrew should benefit financially from the royal family because of all his past scandals, yet that’s exactly what is happening right now.
The King of England is being criticized for allowing the Duke of York to hang on to the royal purse strings, even though some other controversial royals like Prince Harry and Meghan Markle, have been totally cut off from it.
As many royal fans can recall, Prince Andrew has been heavily criticized for his close association with the now dead financier Jeffrey Epstein among some other things, too.
Royal expert Nathan Kay, who often has something to say about the British Royal Family, recently weighed in on the matter.
He said, “The royal purse strings have allegedly finally been cut, forcing the Duke of York to maintain his sprawling £30 million estate all by himself. God forbid a man having to pay for his own home!”
Royal Family News – What’s Next For The Duke Of York?
“That means finding funds for the hefty renovations Royal Lodge reportedly needs.”
Kay added, “Somehow, Charles still finds it in his regal heart to keep throwing his brother lifelines, be it in the guise of occasional private allowances or an all-too-generous invitation to appear at public events.”
He then said, “This is where the real issue lies because cutting Andrew’s allowance is one thing; allowing him to linger at the royal table is another. His continued presence alongside the Firm serves as a stubborn reminder of the monarchy’s ability to be tone-deaf to public opinion.
So far King Charles himself has not made any comments about the criticism that he’s received, although at this point it’s doubtful that he will. For now, drop us a line with your thoughts in our comments section below.
