Royal biographer Christopher Andersen noted that Kate has finally moved on: “The notion that Kate still has the energy to play peacemaker is simply unrealistic. She made sincere efforts over the years, but ultimately reached a point of frustration and stepped away.

“Her role in trying to repair the relationship between William, Charles, and Harry was significant, but it was not enough.”

Royal expert Richard Fitzwilliams also confirmed that Kate and Prince William are united in their decision to leave behind the drama.

“Kate is in complete agreement with Prince William about no longer engaging with the rift,” Fitzwilliams said.

“Harry’s portrayal of her as cold and unwelcoming towards Meghan in his memoir Spare caused significant damage, and with the paperback version of the book coming out soon, those claims will surface again. Thankfully, Harry is not expected to promote it further.”

Fitzwilliams added that after enduring emotional turmoil, Kate is now focusing on her health, family, and royal duties, while avoiding the negativity surrounding the ongoing conflicts.

“We’ve seen positive signs of Kate’s recovery,” Fitzwilliams added. “Her focus now is on remaining cancer-free, and with William’s unwavering support, they are ready to move forward. Kate will avoid anything that brings unnecessary stress into her life.”
