Taylor Swift has something coming down the pipeline and it might have an effect on Kansas City Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce.

Kansas City Chiefs star Travis Kelce and Taylor Swift are enjoying some much-needed downtime after a hectic 18 months.

With Taylor not touring in 2025 and Kelce not in football mode, the pair are reportedly using this time to make future plans…and Swift has already made hers.

Given that Kelce is weighing up his NFL future, what has now been revealed to The Daily Express is that Taylor has some big plans coming down the pipeline.

“Taylor is in the development stages of her new album which will be released at the end of the year,” the source said. She wrote songs backstage on her last tour and bosses at AEG have been told to prepare themselves for another tour in 2026.”

Hmm, a tour in 2026, you say.

So could this little nugget of information impact Kelce and his decision? Will the tight end play on for one more year, and then ride off into the sunset and tour with Taylor?

That is certainly an interesting option.

On the other side of that, if Kelce does retire this offseason, then he and Swift can make plans for the year and put things in place before she hits the road again in 2026.

We know it won’t be a quick tour, so it does seem that now would be the time for the pair to dot their I’s and cross their T’s.

And as far as Kelce’s NFL future, if Swift is only having 2025 “off,” maybe he goes around one more time and sails off into the sunset with her in 2026.
