Prince Harry has reportedly been left horrified after seeing criticism of Meghan Markle’s new Netflix show, with the Duke of Sussex vowing to ‘protect the mother of his kids’
Prince Harry is standing by his wife
It’s been almost a decade since Prince Harry’s life was forever changed when he met Meghan Markle.
Gone are the days of being the royal family’s lovable rebel; he’s now a devoted family man who has distanced himself from the monarchy. Despite their highly publicized exit from the royal family in 2020, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex continue to be in the spotlight.
Harry has been focusing on his charitable endeavors, while Meghan is capitalizing on their substantial $100 million Netflix deal. Her recent show, With Love, Meghan, received negative reviews from critics but was well-received by her fans.
Meanwhile, her As Ever lifestyle brand is a commercial success, despite some people experiencing issues when trying to purchase products. However, friends claim that the constant public criticism of Meghan is taking a toll on Harry.

Meghan continues to divide Harry’s fans, with some blaming her for the Duke of Sussex’s estrangement from his father, King Charles, and brother, Prince William. Instead of making Harry question whether it’s all worth it, sources suggest that the criticism has only strengthened his love for his wife.
A source told the Daily Mail, “It’s horrible for him to know that people don’t like his wife. He adores her and doesn’t think she deserves any of the backlash or criticism that has been thrown at her over the past few years.”
The source continued, “He’s told us that the more people hate her, the more he’s going to stand by her. He’s vowed to always protect the mother of his kids.”
The source claimed the criticism is particularly hard for Harry to swallow because he “‘hasn’t got a nasty bone in his body,” and his protective instincts have even led him to challenge the UK Government – as well as some of his father’s advisers.
Currently, Harry is embroiled in legal action to regain his taxpayer-funded security detail while in the UK. Despite being involved in various lawsuits over time, he considers this one to be of utmost importance.
He wishes for his children, Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet, to connect with their British heritage, yet he remains worried about their safety on British soil. Harry is challenging the dismissal of his High Court claim against the Home Office over the decision of the Executive Committee for the Protection of Royalty and Public Figures (Ravec) that he should receive a different degree of protection when in the UK.
After leaving court last week, he stated, “People would be shocked by what’s being held back.” He further expressed that his “worst fears have been confirmed by the whole legal disclosure in this case and that’s really sad.”
