The Lincoln Lawyer season 4 keeps getting more exciting by the week, as new cast members are added and speculation grows about the exact role Neve Campbell’s Maggie is going to play. The show’s eponymous hero, Mickey Haller, is currently awaiting trial for murder after the shocking twist at the end of season 3’s finale, and his ex-wife Maggie McPherson is about to join the defense team tasked with clearing his name in court. She’s not the only one, though.

Alongside the return of Neve Campbell’s Maggie and Mickey’s usual team at Haller & Associates law firm, Lorna Crane, Izzy Letts, and Cisco Wojciechowski, an entirely new character will be coming to his aid in The Lincoln Lawyer season 4. This new addition to Mickey’s defense team will enter the fray via established main character Izzy, played by Jazz Raycole, Haller’s former driver who’ll be training in law during The Lincoln Lawyer’s fourth season.

In recent weeks, The Rookie and Heart Eyes actor Gigi Zumbado was announced as a new Lincoln Lawyer cast member for season 4. Zumbado will play Grace, a paralegal who strikes up a friendship with Izzy during their law class together. Before long, Grace finds herself working alongside Izzy on a real trial, which just happens to be The Lincoln Lawyer’s biggest case yet. It remains to be seen whether Mickey and his team will be making a mistake by letting Grace into their circle or whether she’s able to bring the fresh perspective they need for their case.

While waiting for The Lincoln Lawyer season 4, fans have come up with many ideas about characters and storylines we’d like to see in the Netflix show.

At the same time, Grace’s friendship with Izzy will allow Jazz Raycole’s character to grow differently, as we see her developing her legal skills and expanding her social circle independently of Mickey. With this different side to Izzy’s story arc, we can expect Raycole to have more screen time than ever before during The Lincoln Lawyer’s fourth season.

With The Lincoln Lawyer’s new antagonist, “Death Row” Dana Berg, leading the case for Mickey’s prosecution in season 4, Haller will need all the help he can get to fight for his freedom. That’s why it’s no bad thing that Neve Campbell’s Maggie McPherson is returning to the show, taking time away from her job in San Diego to help on Mickey’s case.

Grace’s presence might cause friction between Izzy and the other members of Haller’s defense team.
