Taylor Swift has conquered the music world, broken touring records, and found happiness with NFL star Travis Kelce—but apparently, that isn’t enough to stop people from wondering if she’s pregnant (because what else would the internet possibly want to know about one of the most successful artists of our generation?)

So, let’s cut straight to the chase: there is currently no confirmation that Taylor Swift is pregnant with Travis Kelce’s child. But that hasn’t stopped plenty of speculation about what the future might hold for this power couple.

According to RadarOnline, “Taylor has her future planned out to a tee,” with insiders suggesting the pop superstar is mindful of timing when it comes to expanding her family (which, again, totally makes sense given her career.) Interestingly, some sources speculate she wouldn’t want to become pregnant while Kelce is still actively playing football.

“She wants to get married and start a family, and now is the time,” another source claimed to RadarOnline. “Privately, she’s hoping Kelce will retire, but she’ll support him through another year of football if that’s what he wants.”

It’s true that some sources were convinced Swift expected Kelce to hang up his cleats after Super Bowl LIX—especially given his somewhat challenging performance in the game. “The idea was Travis would win the Super Bowl and go out in a blaze of glory, so they’d have more time to be together and could plan a wedding and a baby,” said RadarOnline’s source.

The source didn’t stop there: “He’ll be so busy training, and then when football season kicks off, he’ll be focused on the game and winning,” adding that if Swift becomes pregnant, she’d “likely want Travis’ total undivided attention.”

But as we know now, Travis had other plans. In a text message shared on his “New Heights” podcast on February 27, 2025, he made his intentions crystal clear: “I’m coming back for sure. Gonna try and get to the best shape I’ve been this offseason and get back to the mountaintop.”

While the couple navigates these timing questions privately—rightfully so—others in the sports world are already envisioning what a Swift-Kelce kid might be like. On a recent episode of the “Dudes on Dudes” podcast, former NFL star Rob Gronkowski joked about the couple’s potential future: “They gotta have a kid.”

Taking his prediction even further, Gronkowski quipped that the child would be “performing 8 catches a game and then doing the halftime show”—essentially predicting a superhuman inheriting both Kelce’s athletic abilities and Swift’s musical talents.

With Swift continuing her history-making Eras Tour in the coming months and Kelce preparing for another season with the Chiefs, both stars have packed schedules ahead. But one thing’s clear: when these two do decide to take the next step—whether that’s an engagement, wedding, or baby announcement—you can bet it’ll break the internet.
