Queen Camilla spotted ‘copying’ Princess Kate as state of relationship revealed
Queen Camilla turned heads in a timeless look which looked almost identical to a dress Princess Kate has worn.
Queen Camilla put her best fashion foot forward in Italy last week as she stepped out in a series of show-stopping ensembles during her State Visit with King Charles III. The Queen looked stylish in a polka dot Fiona Clare frock, but the look was almost identical to one of Princess Kate’s iconic ensembles – minus a few minor details.
Camilla, 77, rocked the navy and white look that featured a lapel collar and midi length design. This appears to be a new addition to her wardrobe, which was created by her go-to designer. However, it appears the royal copied Kate, who has a love affair with spotted patterns.
Back in 2018, we saw Prince William’s wife turn heads in an eye-catching Alessandra Rich navy and white polka dot dress. She wore this for King Charles’s 70th birthday official portraits. Although if you look closely, this look featured a slight pleat in the flowing skirt and button-down detail, but other than that they are pretty much the same dress

Kate, 43, often sports the print and has been seen in polka dot looks on multiple occasions. She wore a polka dot dress to the Wimbledon final in July 2022, and her style for the Commonwealth Day service in 2023 also featured the same pattern.
The print has an enduring charm which is equally versatile. There is also a deep routed connection to historical British fashion trends, which her late mother-in-law, Princess Diana, was also fond of and often was rocked.
Camilla’s recent look suggests their close bond and indicates that she admires Kate’s influence on the fashion industry.

The royal women were first introduced to each other over 25 years ago and it is thought they have grown close behind the walls of Buckingham Palace.
In the years since their meeting Kate and Camilla are said to have formed a sweet friendship.
Angela Levin told GB News: “Camilla gets on very, very well with Catherine and helped her to understand the way you needed to be in the palace because it’s very difficult.”
Since she was crowned Queen, we have seen a drastic change in her public image. Camilla has gone from a country woman to a global fashion icon.
In recent years we have seen her transform into sophisticated and refined looks while remaining loyal to her trusted designers, including the likes of Anna Valentine and Fiona Clare, who were at the heart of her wardrobe during her recent trip to Rome.
The Queen also elevates her outfits with glittering jewels and trendy accessories, and since the late Queen Elizabeth passed, Camilla often dons her glittering brooches.
