‘Lonely’ Prince Harry is ‘failing hard’ as Meghan Markle ‘pedals perfect world’
Prince Harry has had a tough week after stepping down as patron of Sentebale and becoming embroiled in a bitter row with its chairwoman Sophie Chandauka
Prince Harry’s week has been one he’d likely prefer to forget.
In dramatic fashion, the Royal has stepped away as patron of Sentebale, the charity founded in honor of Princess Diana, and finds himself embroiled in a fiery fight with chairwoman Sophie Chandauka. The turmoil intensified after allegations of bullying and harassment surfaced from the charity’s leadership, prompting retorts from those close to ex-trustees and donors that the accusations are mere “publicity stunts.”
Addressing the conflict, Harry described the recent developments as “heartbreaking to witness.” Further commenting on the fiasco, he welcomed the Charity Commission’s decision to launch an investigation into Sentebale, fervently denouncing what he calls “blatant lies.”
While this drama unfolded, Meghan Markle, his partner, kick-started a promotional blitz for her fresh lifestyle venture, As Ever. The debut offerings, featuring a $12 jar of jam encased in a special edition box, vanished off shelves in just thirty minutes.

Contributing her expertise to the Mirror, Royal expert and historian Dr Tessa Dunlop remarked: ” Prince Harry is having a hell of a time: his truth is now intimately bound up with the Charity Commission’s investigation into Sentebale, one he hopes will ‘unveil the truth,'” reports the Daily Record.
The conflict between Prince Harry and the chairperson of Sentebale, Dr Sophie Chandauka, is escalating, with Chandauka branding Harry as the “number one risk to the charity” he helped establish. Amidst claims of “abuse and harassment,” the friction has worsened just when Meghan’s lifestyle brand As Ever has allegedly sold out its products.
“Nonetheless, as we increasingly retreat into separate echo chambers, Harry is occupying a very different online stratosphere from his wife,” Tessa said. “While the duchess pedals a ‘perfect’ world, Harry is making a fist of failing hard – ‘imperfect’ is to understate his current predicament.”
However, Harry’s troubles aren’t only linked to the inquiry into the charity and the souring boardroom relations. It’s been reported that Harry only learned about his father King Charles’s short hospitalisation due to cancer treatment through the media, like the general public.
Rumors even imply an expanding rift between Harry and his Royal cousin Princess Eugenie. Besides, next week marks the occasion when Harry’s pursuit to have his UK taxpayer-funded police protection reinstated will be considered by the Court of Appeal.
Tessa observed, “If Meghan’s flower-sprinkle biscuits and beige ensembles are insufficient support for Montecito’s lonely prince, he is unlikely to find reassurance among his erstwhile family back in Britain.
“By all accounts, the King’s brief health relapse was not relayed to Harry – he found out about his father’s hospital visit through the press. Even long-suffering Eugenie is said to be fed up with cousin Harry. A reset is what is needed. Meghan’s As Ever brand urgently needs to branch out beyond raspberry jam and crepe mix to something a little stronger.”
