Kate Middleton is “relieved” by Meghan Markle’s new Netflix show, according to a source.

The Duchess of Sussex has divided viewers with her lifestyle program With Love, Meghan. While some fans have been rushing out to try Meghan’s tips and tricks, others have branded the series “cheap TV.”

Neverthelss, the show has been renewed for a second season and a source has suggested the Princess of Wales see this as a positive. “She isn’t making a fuss about it, but there’s a sense of relief that Meghan is putting her energy into something that steers far away from speaking about the family or stirring up controversy,” the source explained.

Meghan and her husband Prince Harry caused a stir with their first Netflix docuseries, in which they opened up about life behind Palace walls. The couple made a number of allegations against the royal family in the show.

In Harry & Meghan, the Duke of Sussex opened up about being pressured to marry someone who “fits the mold.” He suggested he was encouraged to take things slow with Meghan.

Harry also suggested the royals were reluctant to protect Meghan from the press, questioning why she deserved “special treatment.” Meghan’s new show steers clear of making similar comments.

Instead, she shares her tips for a happier life with viewers. Kate shares a lot of Meghan’s interests, including gardening, baking and beekeeping.

The source told In Touch that from Kate’s view, “this show is harmless and should be seen as a positive thing.” And she isn’t the only member of the royal family who’s believed to be a fan of With Love, Meghan.
