Who Is the Father of Jodie Foster’s Kids?

Reports have surfaced following Jodie Foster’s Golden Globes speech of the identity of the father of her children. INSIDE EDITION has the details.

Jodie Foster’s speech at the Golden Globes has now opened the flood gates on her private life.

Published reports today reveal Foster’s most closely guarded secret—the identity of the man who fathered her two sons

Foster said in her speech, “I am so proud of our modern family. Our amazing sons, Charlie and Kit, who are my reason to breathe and to evolve, my blood and soul.”

Their father is said to be Hollywood producer Randy Stone, who used to attend Hollywood gala events, hand-in-hand with Foster.

Stone died five years ago of a heart attack at only 48 years old. He was executive producer on the first movie Foster directed, Little Man Tate.

His mother was quoted as saying, “Randy made an agreement with Jodie that he would never tell. He told me he had to sign documents. It was a secret he took to his grave. That was how much he loved Jodie.” [Source: Randy Stone’s mom Beverly Bates]

She said the two boys, aged 14 and 11, were never told Randy was their father. They called him uncle Randy. When Foster was away shooting movies, he would pitch in to help Foster’s companion, Cydney Bernard, take care of them.

Foster praised her former partner in her speech, “My heroic co-parent, my ex-partner in love but righteous soul sister in life, my confessor, ski buddy, consigliere, most beloved bff of 20 years, Cydney Bernard.

INSIDE EDITION’s Paul Boyd asked body language expert Janine Driver, author of You Can’t Lie To Me, to analyze Foster’s now famous speech, with its flamboyant hand gestures.

“She’s very animated. She always talks with her hands. She’s hyped up. She’s super hyped up. So much so, that she’s a little difficult to follow,” said Driver.

She says the ‘A-Ok’ gesture Jodie made when she is talking about her ailing mother is of special significance.

Boyd asked, “The most emotional part of the speech was when Foster was talking about her mom. What do you see in that moment?”

“We see this little tiny symbol here, it’s called an emblem. My favorite part of the speech is when she gets emotional, the family sees the a-ok symbol, she’s telling her mom its ok. She is talking about her mom, basically when you pass on, I want you to know you were a good mother and I love you, I love you, I love you. She’s saying, essentially, ‘Mom, you’re going to be ok.’ ”

Known for her fierce privacy, Jodie Foster has now broken down the protective walls she so carefully erected, exposing her biggest secret of all.
