Phillip Schofield was forced to quickly interrupt a pre-recorded clip of Gino D’Acampo on Tuesday’s This Morning, ahead of the Italian chef being misunderstood as saying an X-rated word.
The celebrity chef has faced similar issues before, with one iconic scene from 2019 becoming a standout moment in This Morning history.
Gino made a dirty blunder when trying to say the word ‘inhale it’, resulting in repeating the expletive: ‘analate’.
He’s elsewhere had viewers and host Holly Willoughby in hysterics with his pronunciations of words like ‘sheet’.
But before anyone could even jump in to say what they thought Gino had said on today’s show, Phil got to it first, clarifying what was going on.
Introducing viewers to Gino’s latest Italian adventure, Phil began: ‘Lots on the way, including an Italian escape with Gino’.

The clip then cut to Gino talking about wine, saying: ‘What I really want to know is why Sardinian cork is so special. And how many corks do you produce a day?’
The expert then replied: ‘More or less, we produce two million corks’.
With the word having been repeated three times, Phil was quick to jump in, shouting: ‘No, no, no, stop!’
He continued: ‘He’s at a cork factory,’ stressing the word in question.
‘It’s cork! A wine cork factory in Sardinia.
‘There’s more from Gino and his questionable pronunciation,’ Phil continued.
This Morning airs weekdays from 10am on ITV.
