It is no secret knowledge that Robert Downey Jr. had originally auditioned for the role of Doctor Doom back in the day when the first Fantastic Four adaptation was being made. Now, after giving fans one of the greatest superhero portrayals of all time as Iron Man in the MCU, he has been cast as Doctor Doom. Despite it being a shocking career decision, fans have been largely appreciative of the actor taking on the mantle of one of the most iconic villains of the Marvel-verse.

From one of the greatest heroes to portraying one of the greatest villains, it seems Downey has already started his preparation. In a viral video on Instagram, the actor can be seen refusing to fist bump with a fan, who is no other than the famous TikToker, former model, and influencer, Haley Baylee.

In a video posted on Baylee’s Instagram, she can be seen approaching Downey, who then greats her with a kind smile but refuses to give her a fist bump. While Baylee hilariously joked in the comments— He’s Iron Man and Doctor Doom, of course, he ignored me— netizens too joined in, praising Downey for his subtle ‘bless you’ and staying in character.
