Wendy Williams has some feuds that might have been a step too far, even for her sensibilities.
Wendy Williams might have had a lot of beef with a slew of artists over the course of her career. However, there was one feud that got her in some trouble with the public, thanks to her going out of her way to make fun of one of DC’s most celebrated actors.

Wendy Williams’ uncalled-for comments led to her landing in some hot water, the kind that caused her to have to apologize publically. This was immediately followed by her donating a slew of money to charities related to the communities she offended.
Wendy Williams decided to make fun of Joaquin Phoenix in the worst way possible

Wendy Williams had some choice words to say about Joaquin Phoenix, much of which was largely uncalled for and hurtful. She had some mean comments about the actor’s lips, which she raved about when talking about Phoenix, going so far as to mimic him in bad faith. She said:
When he shaves off his mustache, he’s got a hairline fracture. He’s got one of those — what do you call it? Cleft lip, cleft palate.
This drew the ire of a slew of fans of the actor, and the cleft community as well. The actress promptly apologized and tried to move on. It is safe to say that this one beef, which she started out of nowhere, got her in more trouble than her snide comments were worth.
Joaquin Phoenix’s Joker 2 was horrible, and the actor allegedly agrees

A clip from the Cannes Film Festival went viral online, which showed Joaquin Phoenix and Lady Gaga at the screening of Joker 2. However, the clip shows Phoenix tuning to Lady Gaga and allegedly mouthing ‘it’s horrible’, to which the singer laughs and says no.
The first Joker film managed to gross a billion dollars despite not receiving much positive attention from critics. The second film, on the other hand, was panned critically and commercially, with fans not being able to get behind the story of the film, or even find a point in its existence.
Further, the film seemingly took a fan-favorite character like Harley Quinn and changed her story so radically that fans of the character were wholly not interested in the film either. This contributed to its poor box office and critical performance. It seems that Todd Philips was not equipped to run the DCU after all.
