Meghan Markle has now been given a new nickname that has made some people feel happy.

Veteran British journalist Piers Morgan is known as Meghan Markle’s “arch-enemy” when he did not hesitate to criticize and mock the duchess in the media. After the Sussexes’ blockbuster interview with Oprah, Piers Morgan responded harshly to what Meghan and her husband criticized the royal family on his show.

Piers Morgan did not hesitate to scold Meghan: “I don’t believe a word she says. I wouldn’t believe a weather report if she were the one reading it. Her fierce attack on our Royal Family is terrible.”

The veteran journalist’s attack on Meghan on television has caused some people to file a complaint with Ofcom, the government agency and media regulator in the UK, including a petition from Meghan. Many people asked journalist Piers to apologize to Meghan, however, he flatly refused and proactively quit his job.

Now Piers is considered to have “won” the “battle” with Meghan when he was determined to have done nothing wrong. Ofcom has just issued a statement that Mr. Piers did not violate any media regulations or principles when he frankly commented that Meghan was a liar on the Good Morning Britain (GMB) program in March.

Ofcom announced: “Mr. Morgan is entitled to say that he does not believe the allegations made by the Duke and Duchess of Sussex, and at the same time holds and expresses strong views, challenging the words of the Sussexes”.

After Ofcom’s conclusion, Mr. Piers Morgan excitedly wrote on Twitter that this was a “resounding defeat for Princess Pinocchio”, while emphasizing that many things Harry and Meghan said were proven to be untrue. And “Princess Pinocchio” (referring to Meghan as the Princess who often lies) has become a new nickname used by netizens to mock the Duchess.

Many netizens said that this is definitely a heavy slap in the face to Meghan and her husband when they were once again dug up for lying in a blockbuster interview. The Sussexes have not yet responded to this latest incident.

Recently, the royal couple has also been repeatedly condemned for hypocrisy, causing public outrage. First, Prince Harry used his millionaire friend’s private jet, which is harmful to the environment, to attend an event. Meghan is also being questioned about the amount of money she pledged to donate to an elephant charity but has not been seen yet.
