But it gets darker. The tale’s told by the Sovereign himself, chained and cornered by Diana’s daughter Trinity, who’s demanding the truth. As he recalls the war, he name-drops Lyssa, a character tied to Wonder Woman’s rival, Emelie, and maybe even the one who delivers the fatal blow. The same Lyssa he calls “my own dear Lyssa.” Yikes.
