Taylor Swift’s close friend, actress Jaime King, had been in the midst of a massive child custody change involving her two sons.
Unfortunately, it appears their friendship has taken a massive hit.
King is no longer a part of Taylor’s squad despite the singer being a godmother to the actress’s youngest son, Leo.
“Taylor and Jaime are not close anymore and don’t talk, but there is still love,” a source close to King told the US Sun on Friday.
Despite the former friends no longer having ‘regular contact,’ the publication added that the pop star still takes her godmother role ‘very seriously.’
“She has always taken her godmother role and duties very seriously and is the most caring and thoughtful person Jaime could’ve asked to be there for Leo,” the source told the outlet.
“But their relationship is a lot different now than it was back when Jaime asked Taylor to be his godmother. There is no regular contact.”
According to the insider, Taylor Swift still sends the 9-year-old gifts on special occasions and would “be there in a heartbeat” if he needed her.
King and Swift were first together after meeting at a 2014 Golden Globes party. It would take until the following year for King to ask Swift to be her son Leo’s godmother.
King’s now ex-husband, Kyle Newman, also directed Swift’s 2015 “Style” music video.

Taylor Swift reportedly has no contact with friend Jaime King, but there is still love between the two.
That is the least of King’s worries these days.
King has reportedly moved out of her $10,000-a-month rental home in the Hollywood Hills following a difficult custody battle with her ex-husband, Kyle Newman.
King lost custody of her children.
Upon moving out, her landlord sued her, as she allegedly owed approximately $42,580 in back rent and “has not paid [her landlord] any money, whatsoever” since January, according to court documents obtained by Us Weekly.
