Ashley St. Clair Appears Relaxed After Closed-Door Custody Hearing with Elon Musk on July 21

On July 21, writer and influencer Ashley St. Clair, 26, was seen smiling as she left the New York Supreme Court (USA) after a two-hour closed-door hearing regarding a custody dispute over a 10-month-old boy, believed to be her child with billionaire Elon Musk. A DNA test confirmed a 99.99% match with the American billionaire.

St. Clair turned heads with her new bob haircut, appearing confident as she exited the courthouse. The hearing was conducted in strict secrecy, with windows covered to block outside views, according to Daily Mail.

After leaving the courtroom, St. Clair seemed at ease, hugging her attorney before departing in a taxi. When approached by reporters, she declined to comment. Her attorney, Karen Rosenthal, stated briefly, “We cannot disclose anything at this time.”

The lawsuit, initiated in February, has reportedly caused significant trouble for Musk. Court documents reveal the boy, referred to as R.S.C. (believed to be named Romulus), was born in September 2024. St. Clair first publicly disclosed the matter on Valentine’s Day this year.

Initially, Musk was reportedly hesitant about the father-child relationship but underwent a DNA test, which confirmed a 99.99% likelihood of paternity. According to St. Clair’s side, Musk offered her $15 million and $100,000 monthly to keep her pregnancy confidential. However, she chose to take the matter to court. Subsequently, the payments Musk provided were significantly reduced, per her attorney.

In her lawsuit, St. Clair accused Musk of “lacking good faith in resolving custody and support issues amicably.” Although the recent hearing was described as a “settlement conference,” both parties have yet to reach an agreement.

St. Clair is seeking full custody of the child. She stated that she met Musk in Saint Barts (Caribbean) in January 2023, where they had a brief relationship resulting in her pregnancy.

According to the influencer, Musk has met the child only three times, was not present at the birth, and has not expressed interest in seeking custody. All decisions regarding the child have been made solely by St. Clair.

Musk first became a father in 2002 with his first wife, author Justine Musk, when their son Nevada Alexander was born but tragically passed away after 10 weeks. The couple later had five children: twins Vivian and Griffin (20), and triplets Kai, Saxon, and Damian (19).

With singer Grimes, Musk has three children: X Æ A-12 (known as X), Exa Dark Sideræl, and Techno Mechanicus. Additionally, he has twins Strider and Azure, daughter Arcadia, and son Seldon Lycurgus with Shivon Zilis, an employee of Musk.

Previously, Musk faced public disputes with Grimes over custody of their son X, after she claimed they had agreed to keep their children out of the media spotlight, a rule Musk did not follow.
