From smelling feet and armpits to digging through dirt to openly thirsting over Mr. Clean, no daytime talk show is doing it quite like The Drew Barrymore Show.

Take Tuesday’s episode for example, which saw host Drew Barrymore share her deep love for outrageously large granny panties by placing a pair of them on her head like a nice little hat. As the great Maximus once declared, “Are you not entertained!?”

Barrymore’s panty proclamation came as part of a larger debate with her cohosts Ross Mathews and Sunny Anderson about the amount of underwear that a person should pack when going on vacation.

“For a three-day trip, I might pack zero [pairs], I might pack three,” the actress said, throwing her hands in the air as Mathews and Anderson laughed. “I don’t know! It just depends!”

But when Barrymore does pack underwear for a trip, they’re definitely going to be the extra roomy kind. To prove her point, the 50 First Dates actress pulled out a large white pair and showed them off to the audience.

“These are my underwear,” she explained as she placed them atop her head. “I’m telling you, I like a big pair of panties.”

When Anderson noted that the undergarment definitely wasn’t Barrymore’s correct size, the host replied, “I like everything — I don’t like tight and constricting. I don’t even own a pair of G-strings.”

Anderson could relate. “I hated that thong era,” she remarked. Referencing “The Thong Song,” the Food Network star added, “Sisqó, we mad at you!”

Barrymore also noted that thongs aren’t even the best way to hide panty lines when wearing a tight outfit. “If you’re afraid of VPL [visible panty lines], the way to get rid of it is not wear underwear,” she explained. “And then you won’t have to worry!”

In the meantime, Barrymore will stick with her undergarment of choice. “I like a big granny panty,” she said, proudly waving the pair around in the air like a rally rag.

Of course, this isn’t the first time that Barrymore has discussed her underwear choices — or lack thereof — in detail on her show. She previously made Gwyneth Paltrow answer a question written on her “sailboat sheet”-sized briefs during an underwear-themed segment last November.

“What has happened to this show?!” Paltrow exclaimed at the time, before reading the question aloud. “‘If you could only wear one kind of underwear, what would you pick?'”

Motioning to Barrymore’s panties, the Iron Man actress and Goop founder simply replied, “Those.”

Barrymore was thrilled by her guest’s answer. “You want my underwear?” she asked. “We can both fit in them! I’m not kidding.”
