Hulk Hogan’s daughter, Brooke, reportedly sought to be removed from his will two years before his untimely passing.
Hulk Hogan passed away last Thursday after suffering cardiac arrest at his home in Clearwater, Florida. Medical personnel spent 30 minutes trying to revive the 71-year-old at his house before taking him to the hospital, where he was pronounced dead.
According to a report from TMZ Sports, Brooke Hogan asked her father’s financial manager to remove her from his will in 2023. Brooke reportedly “didn’t trust” anyone in Hogan’s circle, and she was taken out of the will after several disagreements with Hulk:
“Sources close to Brooke tell TMZ that in 2023, she asked to be removed from Hulk’s will … because she didn’t trust a single person around him, and didn’t want to get caught up in a financial battle when he passed.
We’re told all Brooke ever really wanted was to protect her dad from people she felt were taking advantage of him … but after years of disagreeing with Hulk over the matter, she reached out to his financial manager and had herself removed from the will.
Brooke’s saddened he didn’t trust her to have his back — but bottom line, she’s never been about money, and won’t be getting any from his estate … and she’s totally okay with it.”
Though Brooke was removed from the will at her request, TMZ Sports notes that she’ll receive some money from Hulk’s life insurance trust.
Multiple reports state that Hulk Hogan left an estate of $25 million, but it’s unclear who will inherit it, and how much will go to each party. Hogan was married to Sky Daily since Sept. 2023 before his passing and also has a son, Nick, two years younger than Brooke.
Hogan hadn’t wrestled since January 2012, and he wasn’t a full-time talent in WWE since 2023. But he had a legends contract with WWE and had several business expenditures, including Hogan’s Beach Shop in Orlando and “Real American Beer” that launched last year.

When Vince McMahon unleashed his plans for the WWF (now WWE) to grow internationally, he handpicked Hogan as the company’s face. Hogan took the torch and ran with it, spending more than a decade as the biggest wrestling superstar in the world.
His post-wrestling career was marred by plenty of controversies and personal life issues, which tainted his legacy to some. But at the same time, it’s safe to say that the WWE wouldn’t be where it is today without the rise of Hulkamania in the ’80s.
