Lauren Alaina & Cam Arnold Welcome First Child
On Wednesday, June 11th, Lauren Alaina and her husband Cam Arnold welcomed their first child, a baby girl named Beni Doll Arnold. The bundle of joy was born at 8:44 am, weighing 7 lbs 13oz and measuring 19 inches long.
The couple first shared news of their growing family through the music video for Lauren’s song “Those Kind of Women.” In the video, the 30-year-old showed off her baby bump and concluded with a dedication to “my Momma and our sweet Baby Arnold coming summer 2025.”
Two days after the arrival of her daughter, Lauren wrote:
“The right words are hard to find to describe how parts of my heart that I didn’t even knew existed were unlocked at 8:44 am when they laid you on my belly for the first time. I will never be the same. You, to your dad and me, are absolute perfection. We are honored God chose us to be your parents.”

Lauren Alaina Releases New Song Inspired By Her Newborn Daughter
Along with news of her daughter’s arrival, Lauren Alaina shared a “little surprise” with her fans.
“To celebrate the most precious miracle on Earth I have decided to release a song I wrote about my daughter. We learned she was coming in a time of deep sadness after the loss of my daddy.”
JJ Suddeth, Lauren’s father, passed away on July 23, 2024. The American Idol alum reflected on the bittersweet experience of learning of her pregnancy during a time of grief and welcoming her daughter just before her first Father’s Day without her dad. She wrote:
“I wasn’t sure when I would share ‘Heaven Sent’ but watching my own husband become a father the last couple of days has made me want to share it with you now. She came just before Father’s Day. My first without my own father. A day that will forever be hard to me, but I now have a new and perfect reason to celebrate it.”
