Apparently reestablishing the very idea of what the superhero universe is and will be, the film is set to introduce some new characters and exciting feats.
Part of the new characters it is said to be introducing is George Washington Bridge, a character with deep ties to the Marvel Universe. As per the and scooper @MyTimeToShineH, renowned actor Giancarlo Esposito has been cast in the role. Famed for Breaking Bad and many other projects, the actor is a standout when it comes to portraying complex and ambiguous characters.
George Washington Bridge first made an appearance in the comic book X-Force #1 in 1991, as part of the X-Force containing characters like Cable, Warpath, Siryn, and more. One of the most acclaimed Marvel comic books of all time containing some fan-favorite mutants, the inclusion of Bridge in the movie is a direct hint that the X-Men will be involved in some fashion or the other in the upcoming film.

Giancarlo Esposito will be starring as George Washington Bridge, a former S.H.I.E.L.D. agent and long-time ally of the X-Men.
