Meghan Markle‘s BFF Abigail Spencer is sticking up for her after that scathing Vanity Fair report!
On Thursday, Abigail stepped out in New York City at an American Heart Association event. She stopped to chat with Page Six on the carpet, revealing that she finds it “painful” to see all the negative commentary about her friend and former Suits co-star. When asked what it’s like to read the constant hate, Abigail candidly shared:
“It’s very painful as a friend, but she is the most glorious human being on the planet, and so we just have to get behind her and support her.”
Yeah, it’s gotta be hard, but Abigail sure put a positive spin on that real quick. Clearly, Meg’s got some supportive friends!
Abigail also praised the royal’s upcoming Netflix series, With Love, Meghan, gushing:
“What I love about it is, you know, Meghan is one of my best friends, and I feel like the whole world is going to see, like, an authentic, very cool, very lovely insight into who she actually is as a person. So, I’m very excited. And also, you’re going to learn a lot! I’ve learned a lot from her myself.”
The actress then laughed while explaining what exactly she learned from her cameo on the lifestyle series, saying:
“Oh my God, I don’t know how to cook. You’ll see on the show, she teaches me.”
Hah!
The show will air on March 4 after being postponed due to the LA wildfires. Of course, this interview comes after Meg and Prince Harry were slammed in a brutal Vanity Fair article, which doubled down on former claims that Meghan is a difficult boss and lots more nasty allegations. Check out Abigail’s reflection on all this (below):
She’s a ride or die! Thoughts??
