‘We have a LOT to discuss!’ Scott teases for show’s Aug. 16 return.
Hailie Jade Scott is getting ready to get Shady again.
Eminem’s daughter is set to launch the third season of her podcast, “Just a Little Shady,” on Aug. 16. Scott made the announcement via social media on Monday, which marked the two-year anniversary of her podcast’s launch.
The weekly series features Scott and her co-host, longtime BFF Brittany Ednie, discussing pop culture, topical issues and their lives. A regular feature has listeners sharing their own “Shady Stories” with the hosts.
“Get your shady stories ready… we have a LOT to discuss!” Scott wrote in a Instagram post announcing the launch of the show’s third season.
Scott, 28, was married earlier this year, tying the knot with her husband Evan McClintock, both of whom were students at Michigan State University. Photos of Scott dancing with her father at the wedding ceremony were widely circulated on the internet.
Scott is a frequent topic of Eminem’s lyrics, going back to 1999’s “’97 Bonnie and Clyde,” and a sometimes collaborator; she appeared on 2002’s “My Dad’s Gone Crazy.” She’s mentioned several times on Eminem’s latest album, “The Death of Slim Shady,” including the song “Temporary,” a somber tribute to her, which features frequent Eminem associate Skylar Grey. An early voice recording of Scott is featured on the track “Somebody Save Me,” which features Jelly Roll.
Since becoming a social media influencer, Scott has amassed 3.4 million followers on Instagram and 1.8 million followers on TikTok. “Just a Little Shady’s” YouTube page has 178,000 followers.
“Just a Little Shady’s” first season featured 42 episodes and the second season, which wrapped in March, featured 27 episodes.
