The actress, known for voicing Rogue in the classic X-Men: The Animated Series, had the opportunity to return to her character years after in the show’s revival, which has received positive reception from critics and fans alike.

Zann recently took to X (Twitter) to express the sorrow and grief of losing her father as she encouraged her fans to treasure their loved ones.

Known for her portrayal of Rogue in Marvel’s animated series X-Men ’97, Lenore Zann, recently shared the unfortunate loss of her father on X (Twitter). The actress shared that her father recently passed away while expressing how much she misses him.

Zann also noted that this Father’s Day would be especially difficult as it would be her first without her father. In her brief message, the actress also urged those fortunate enough to have their loved ones by their side to show their love and appreciation. She said,

I just lost my dearest Dad. I miss him terribly, and this will be my first Father’s Day without him. If you still have yours please let him know you love and appreciate him!

The actress shared earlier on her Instagram that her father, Paul Zann, passed away in October 2023. She expressed her profound sense of loss while reflecting on how her father played a pivotal role in bringing the family together for special gatherings.

“Dad was always the one who gathered the family together for special occasions – and his positivity and fun-loving nature are sorely missed,” she said, expressing that his absence is deeply felt due to his positive and fun-loving personality.

Lenore Zann Shares Positive Update About Season 2 of X-Men ’97

Created by Beau DeMayo, Marvel’s animated series X-Men ’97 has become one of the most successful Marvel projects in recent times. Season 1 of the series concluded about a month ago and fans are eagerly awaiting the next season.

Zann, who voiced Rogue in the show has recently shared that she has finished recording Rogue’s lines for the next season. The actress also expressed her excitement to return in a third season, saying, “They’ve just begun working on season 3, so I’m looking forward to that one as well.”

She also expressed her gratitude for fans’ love and appreciation, noting that it is something that they did not experience while working on the original series.“We were just overwhelmed by the love and the warmth from the fans,” she told ScreenRant.

Zann further stated, “So now, to be able to see it and also to interact with fans, both online and at Comic-Cons, is just such a gift.” Season 2 of the show is currently under production and so far no certain release date is available for the next season.
