We’re hearing more about Liam’s Payne’s final activities before his tragic death. And it is, unfortunately, mostly what you’d think…
In TMZ’s new documentary TMZ Investigates: Liam Payne: Who’s to Blame?, accused drug dealer Braian Nahuel Paiz once again admits to partying HARD with the One Direction alum — consuming both whiskey and cocaine across two nights before his death. In a clip, Braian explains he was the waiter for Liam, and the two started hanging out:
“My name is Braian, I’m 24 years old, and I met Liam at my restaurant. They say I’m the dealer, that I carried drugs, that I sold them, and the truth is that no, no I didn’t sell them.”
As we know, Braian was one of the last people who hung out with Liam and is accused of selling him the drugs that played a role in his demise. But he maintains to the outlet he DIDN’T accept any money from Liam, or the late singer’s Rolex — though it was offered:
“I didn’t even accept his money, nothing. He wanted to give me his Rolex, I didn’t accept it. I didn’t accept anything — just a drawing that he drew which was part of my eyes, nose, mouth. He draws, I draw. I’m studying to do it, so I had drawings.”
We’ve heard about the Rolex before — it’s missing and cops haven’t been able to recover it. They believe Braian may have taken it, something he clearly still denies.
Reflecting on their bender, he tells the outlet:
“There was cocaine. There wasn’t even a lot of it, but we had some with the whiskey.”
“The second night, too … The soap box and aluminum foil was already there. Drugs scattered everywhere.”
According to the the initial autopsy, Liam had more than alcohol and cocaine in his system. They also found crack, benzodiazepine, and “pink cocaine” — which is usually a mix of methamphetamine, ketamine, MDMA, and other drugs. If Braian didn’t get him the other stuff, where did he get it?
