The Ray Gun is without a doubt the most iconic weapon in Call of Duty Zombies and the Wonder Weapon returns in Black Ops 6 Zombies. Getting this weapon usually requires some luck with the Mystery Box but on The Tomb, there is an Easter Egg that will guarantee players will get the gun for absolutely free. How to Get a Free Ray Gun on The Tomb

The free Ray Gun Easter Egg includes 2 important items: The Death Perception Perk and a Digging Shovel. The Perk is found in the Tombs in the northwest corner of the map, the room between the Dig Site spawn room and the Shrine of the Hierophants. There are 4 Shovels With both the Perk and Shovel found around the map. You can check out Gameranx’s guide on All Shovel Locations. Once you have both the Perk and a Shovel, start to go around the map and interact with Dig Sites, small piles of dirt and bones. With Death Perception, you have a chance to dig up an Ancient Gem that is glowing green. Go around digging up the dirt until you collect 3 of these Ancient Gems.




Once you have all 3 gems, go to the Tombs area that has the Death Perception Perk Machine. At the north end of the room is a statue next to the bull mural. Interact with it to place the 3 Gems around the statue. This will cause the statue to collapse and a Dark Aether Rift to appear. Two powerful Doppleghasts with glowing green eyes will spawn. You will need to defeat both of these enemies. These enemies are strong so make sure you have some Perks and an upgraded weapon before attempting this fight.




Once both Doppleghasts are defeated, the gems will come together into a single stone. This stone will then drop the Ray Gun on the ground for you to pick up.
