What Princess Diana Would Have Done to Mend the Deep Divide Between Her Sons!

Princess Diana wouldn’t be happy with her sons, according to an expert

Prince William and Prince Harry were once inseparable, but their bond has been strained ever since the Sussexes’ left the royal family and publicly criticized the monarchy.

Sources close to the Prince of Wales have claimed he has lost all trust in his brother and that their relationship is beyond repair. However, royal expert Jennie Bond believes their late mother, Princess Diana, could have bridged the gap between the brothers.

She said: “I believe Diana would have sorted things out between the boys long ago. She would have understood both sides, having rebelled against the system herself.”

She added that Diana would have acted as a mediator, bringing William and Harry together to find common ground. “She would have acted as a go-between and knocked William and Harry’s heads together to make them see sense. Perhaps, with his mother to guide and support him, Harry would never have felt the need to speak out on TV and in his book,” she told OK! Magazine.

Bond’s comments were echoed by Diana’s biographer, Andrew Morton, who told The Mirror’s podcast, Pod Save the Queen, that Diana would be “mortified” by the rift between her sons.

“There is no question about it, she’d be mortified that William and Harry have got themselves into this emotional tangle,” he said. “She always said to me on numerous occasions that Harry was William’s wing man, that he was the second boy born into the royal family.”

Morton continued: “She really felt that Harry was there to support William in a very lonely job. She would find it very difficult that they are not communicating, at least not in public.”

Harry and his wife Meghan Markle sent shockwaves around the world in January 2020 when they decided to step back from royal duties, eventually settling down for a new beginning in Montecito, California. However, their bombshell allegations against the royal family have seemingly been the last straw for William, who is believed to have dismissed any chance of working things out.

A source close with both William and Harry remarked: “Harry and Meghan could have left with dignity and decency and not trashed the institution. The conclusion is they’ve made money from trashing his family.”
