Wanda Lives! Scarlet Witch Returns in an All-New Limited Series—And It Looks Incredible!

Marvel's Scarlet Witch officially makes her return in new limited series

One of Marvel’s most-powerful superheroes, the Scarlet Witch, is making yet another return in a comic book limited-series.

MCU fans who’ve been following the latest developments will know we’re still waiting to find out what became of Wanda Maximoff at the end of Doctor Strange: Multiverse of Madness, as she presumably died after going full-psycho over the loss of her family.

There was plenty of mention of her in Agatha All Along though, hinting that her story might not be over just yet.

In the Marvel comics though, she hasn’t gone anywhere really, and now she’s got yet enough series where she reunites with Vision.

Simply titled The Vision & the Scarlet Witch, the limited-series will consist of five issues and celebrate the 50th anniversary of their in-universe wedding, which took place in the fourth issue of Giant-Sized Avengers.

No such wedding took place in the MCU but in WandaVision, part of her fantasy life involved the two being married, so perhaps we’ll see the big day at a later date.

The story of The Vision & the Scarlet Witch has been written by Steve Orlando with art by Lorenzo Tammetta and Jacopo Camagni.

The story’s description reads: “REUNITED…UNDER FATAL CIRCUMSTANCES! Mysterious doors are opening all over the world, drawing people in with promises of miracles and reunions with lost loved ones. When Vision is mortally wounded investigating the deadly truth of the doors, the Scarlet Witch resorts to extreme measures to save his life – and the results are unlike anything either of them expected!”

Sounds like it’ll be a wild ride, and full of the excitement, drama and heartbreak you’d expect from these two teaming up again.
