The Agency premiered on Paramount+ in Nov 2024 with new weekly episodes.

The Agency is a new espionage thriller streaming onParamount+ with SHOWTIME Plan. The series premiered in Nov. 2024 and, according to Deadline, was renewed for a second season in Dec. The story is based on Le Bureau des Légendes, a critically acclaimed series created by Éric Rochant.

The Walking Dead: Daryl Dixon actor Adam Nagaitis stars in a recurring role as Grandma, a CIA field agent assigned with keeping tabs on Martian. He portrayed Quinn, a nightclub owner, in the first season of The Walking Dead spinoff and is known for his roles in The Terror and Chernobyl.

The Agency also stars Michael Fassbender, Jeffrey Wright, Jodie Turner-Smith, and Richard Gere with Hugh Bonneville and Dominic in guest starring roles.

The series is produced by George Clooney and Grant Heslov’s Smokehouse Pictures, MTV Entertainment Studios and 101 Studios. Joe Wright, Philip Martin and Zetna Fuentes direct and all ten episodes were written by Jez Butterworth and John-Henry Butterworth.

Two-time Academy Award nominee and executive producer Fassbender portrays Brandon, codename Martian, a covert CIA agent thrown into a deadly game of international intrigue and espionage when he is ordered to leave his undercover life to return to London Station. Romance is reignited when a former love reappears, pitting his career, identity, and mission against his heart.

Adam Nagaitis – other roles

Nagaitis joined the Daryl Dixon spinoff during its first season. His character, Quinn, was described as   “a displaced Brit who has become powerful in post-apocalyptic Paris as a black marketeer and the owner of the Demimonde, a sexy underground nightclub.” He was the former love interest of Isabelle ( Clémence Poésy) who, despite his friendly demeanor, is seriously aggressive and controlling. Daryl Dixon season 1 is streaming on Netflix.

In 2024, Nagaitis starred in the mystery thriller America Star with Ian McShane, Thomas Kretschmann, Nora Arnezeder, Fanny Ardant, and Oscar Coleman. The movie follows an assassin on a final assignment in Fuerteventura, where he instead discovers connections with the island residents until his profession rears its head. American Star is streaming on AMC+.

He also appeared in the second season of the Martin Freemen-led police drama, The Responder. The series was created by former Merseyside Police officer Tony Schumacher and also stars Adelayo Adedayo, Ian Hart, and MyAnna Buring. The Responder follows a crisis-stricken, morally compromised first-responder who works night shifts in Liverpool. The Brit Box series premiered its second season in May 2024 and is available to rent or buy on Prime Video.
