TikTok User Forewarns of Taylor Swift’s Album Delving into Ex-Boyfriend’s Alleged Infidelity

Joe Alwyn may have left Taylor Swift a scar deeper than love following their split, according to fan theory. The British actor has been accused of cheating on the pop superstar during their relationship after his sex scene with Alison Oliver on “Conversations with Friends” resurfaced online.

In the clip in question from his Huly drama series, Joe appeared to moan his co-star’s name Alison instead of her character’s name. The intimate scene was believed to be filmed in 2021, when he was still dating Taylor.

A TikTok user reported fans’ suspicion in a video uploaded on Saturday, April 6. In the video, she predicted that Taylor’s upcoming new album “The Tortured Poets Department” is going to be “even messier than we thought it was,” because “this man, Joe Alwyn, is very sinister.”

The TikTok creator claimed that Joe “threw Allison a party at the rental that Taylor had paid for.” She said, “You can see [Taylor’s] Brit Music Award in the bottom circle,” while showing a picture of the party.

She then pointed out an Instagram post featuring Joe and Alison’s image that the actress posted on April 19, 2022. “And two years later, ‘The Tortured Poets Department’ is coming out on April 19th, 2024,” she said, highlighting the coincidence.

“I figured that this album would drag him to hell, but now knowing that there was possibly infidelity with his co star makes this release a thousand times more juicy,” she added, before warning Joe, “And it’s really not looking good for Joe at all. You need to go into hiding, sir.”

While some people also heard Joe call Allison’s name in the sex scene and supported the fan theory, others brushed it off as an honest mistake. “That means absolutely nothing. The amount of times actors have said their costars name by accident instead of the character name is probably uncountable,” one person reacted to the TikTok video. Another reminded that “Taylor’s middle name is Alison.”
