Maggie (Lauren Cohan) and Negan (Jeffrey Dean Morgan) were two of the most popular characters on AMC’s The Walking Dead for years, so when the original show ended, it only made sense to spin them off into their own thing. The result: The Walking Dead: Dead City. Season 1 ran for 6 episodes in 2023 and was popular enough to get a second season greenlit.
I watched Season 1 and enjoyed it, as much as I enjoyed the Daryl Dixon spinoff. What can I say? I’m a Walking Dead fan for life. Until death? Something like that. If you missed Season 1, fret not: it’s coming soon to Netflix, and the Season 2 trailer is here!
Read on for the details, but first? The Season 1 trailer!
