It’s been two years since Harry Styles last attended the Grammys in 2023. This evening continued his hiatus. The singer opted to skip the ceremony for a fair reason.
Styles has no nominations at this year’s ceremony. His last album, Harry’s House, came out in 2022. He hasn’t released any work eligible for the 2025 show, nor is he presenting or performing.

Styles has kept a low profile lately. Following the death of his One Direction bandmate Liam Payne, the singer attended his November 20 funeral with fellow members Louis Tomlinson, Zayn Malik, and Niall Horan. The group has sparked rumors they could unite at the Brit Awards to pay tribute to Payne. That ceremony will be on March 1.

Styles had a big night at the 2023 Grammys, taking home Album of the Year. In the press room, Billboard asked Styles about his winning the award over Beyoncé, who had been favored to win for Renaissance.
He replied, “I think… you never know with this stuff… I don’t think you can look at any of the nominees and not feel like they’re deserving. When I look at this category it’s all people who’ve inspired me at different times. It’s not like… you would understand anyone winning. I’m really grateful they chose us.”
The singer was also asked during that press conference about work on his next album. He replied, “We’ve always tried to not really stop writing because it feels like you have this big stop and then you come back to it, and it can feel like you’re either trying to prove something or trying to follow something up, so we’re kind of just always writing.”
