Ice Spice has gotten some sage advice from her friend Taylor Swift.

In an interview with Billboard on Monday, the “Boy’s a Liar Pt. 2” artist, 24, opened up about the wisdom the “Maroon” singer — whom she collaborated with on a remix of Swift’s hit “Karma” — has imparted on her.

“When I was in the studio with Taylor, like, I’ll never forget that. She told me, ‘No matter what, just keep making music and everything’s going to be fine,'” Ice told the outlet.

Elsewhere in the conversation, she included Swift, 34, in a list of her favorite hitmakers of all time.

“Well, first, shout out to them; they’re iconic, each in their own way,” Ice said. “I would say Lana Del Rey — I’m obsessed with her, and I feel like all of her songs are hits, even the ones that aren’t as big as the others. Rihanna, too. I have both [her and Del Rey’s] vinyls. Taylor Swift. Of course, Nicki Minaj. Drake. The list is long!”

In May 2023, the rapper and pop star joined forces for the “Karma” remix, which appeared on Midnights (Til Dawn Edition). Ice also was a special guest of Swift’s at three of her shows at MetLife Stadium in New Jersey, where they debuted a music video they’d made together.

The “Enchanted” artist previously described their collaboration as “one of the most natural things,” and said Ice initially reached out through her team about a possible team-up, according to an audio clip shared by Spotify.

“I had been listening to her nonstop — like getting ready for my tour, I was just listening to Ice Spice constantly. So I immediately got her number and said, ‘Hey, would you wanna do your version of ‘Karma’? Do you relate to this?’ She jumped in headfirst,” said Swift at the time.

Just two months later, Ice opened up about her friendship with the “Mastermind” performer in an interview with The Guardian, explaining that it was “surreal” when she reached out and said she’d been listening to the rapper’s January debut EP Like.. ? during rehearsals for her sold-out Eras Tour.

“I was like, ‘You f— with my project? Like, what?'” the “Barbie Girl” musician recalled. “She’s so sweet — I was so obsessed with how humble she was and willing to work. She gives me so much advice. We talk all the time and she’s so funny.”

“But I can’t say what she be telling me!” she said, playing coy about what Swift had told her.
