The Boys: Ranking the 8 Most Epic Fights in the Series!

Black Noir, Soldier Boy, and Stormfront in The Boys series

Eric Kripke’s irreverent creation, The Boys, is one of the funniest, weirdest, and most action-packed shows on Amazon Prime Video. This often thought-provoking series has some of the most brilliant villains as well as seemingly powerless but surprisingly creative heroes fans ever had the pleasure of watching on the small screen.

The Boys‘ unique take on superheroes not only gave viewers excellent characters but great world-building, plenty of wholesome moments, and some mind-blowing, hilarious, and intense fight scenes of all time. This show keeps stepping up its game with every season while always making sure that the fights between the characters are not only visually stunning but meaningful and purposeful.

8Butcher VS Translucent

Butcher fights Translucent in The Boys

The Boys delivered one of the most memorable pilots ever and the fight between Billy the Butcher and Translucent was a big part of it. While there are some things in the show changed from the comics but core elements stayed the same. This fight scene showed that The Boys will be witty and dark as well as gave fans Butcher’s now-iconic crowbar moment.

After Translucent attacks Hughie, Butcher comes to his rescue using his crowbar and his creativity. Once Butcher realizes he can make Translucent visible by spitting blood on his face there was nothing that could stop him.

7The Boys VS The Deep

The famous boat vs whale fight scene proves that the members of The Boys deliver some of the most memorable fight scenes when they’re together. The Deep was always the most emotional ex-member of The Seven and his fight with The Boys just further showed his vulnerabilities. The Deep got kicked out of the infamous superhero group after he sexually assaulted Annie.

He decided to confront The Boys by riding a huge whale and blocking their path as the gang tried to escape with a motorboat. However, instead of turning or stopping Butcher decided to collide with the sea creature instead. Once the motorboat landed right inside the whale and killed it The Deep broke down crying giving a chance for The Boys to escape.

6Kimiko VS Sex Traffickers

Kimiko fights Sex Traffickers in The Boys series

Kimiko and Frenchie are two of the most beloved couples as well as two of the most honorable characters of the series. While Kimiko had her fair share of fight scenes in the series none was as hilarious and memorable as her superhero-themed dildo fight scene against Russian sex traffickers.

Kimiko’s fight is one of the most memorable in The Boys it’s also the one that further pushes her character while she tries to deal with her unwanted powers and the way others try to use her for them.

5Starlight VS Black Noir VS Queen Maeve

Starlight fights Black Noir in The Boys series

One of the smartest wins in The Boys season 2 was delivered by Queen Maeve. Black Noir attacks Starlight in the conference room which leads to a fight and almost ends with Starlight choked to death.

However, Queen Maeve suddenly takes Black Noir off guard and stuffs some Almond Joy into his mouth. Since Black Noir has a nut allergy it renders him near-powerless and puts an end to their fight.

4Black Noir VS The Boys

Black Noir is one of the strongest members of The Seven, so, it is natural that he had some of the most epic fight scenes of the show. Black Noir is a psychotic mute assassin and when he’s sent to Aunt Judy’s house to kill everyone inside he got more than he bargained for.

Since Hughie, Butcher, and MM know he’s coming they had just enough time to set some traps however none proves to be challenging enough and Black Noir almost kills them all if not for Butcher’s life-saving call to Edgar at Vought who managed to reach an agreement in exchange for The Boys’ lives.

3Stormfront VS The Girls

Stormfront is one of the most hated and powerful villains of the series. She’s a white nationalist and the first successful Supe who was created with Compound V. In the last episode of Season 2 Butcher desperately tries to save his wife and Homelander’s son Ryan when they’re ambushed by Stormfront which leads to the biggest female-lead fights of the series yet.

Kimiko, Starlight, and Queen Maeve team up against Stormfront, however, just when they would finally overpower her, Stormfront manages to break free before they could capture or kill her.

2Butcher VS Security Guards

Most of The Boys‘ fight scenes are so unique that they make this show one of the greatest science-fantasy tv shows right now. The Boys season 1 had another memorable fight scene delivered by the one and only Butcher. The fan-favorite character was investigating Vought’s laboratories where the evil company used their V formula to turn babies into Supes.

When he and MM are discovered by the security guards they have no other choice than to fight back. It’s when Butcher’s wit and unparalleled improvisation skills show once again when he picks up one of the babies and uses their laser vision to defeat the guards.

1Soldier Boy, Butcher, Hughie VS Homelander

Soldier Boy and Homelander getting ready to fight in The Boys

It’s no secret that The Boys have some of the best superhero parodies ever created and season 3’s Soldier Boy is another shining example of this fact. He’s not only everyone’s new favorite Supe but also the one who’s responsible for the most surprising fight scenes of The Boys so far. The fight between Homelander and Soldier Boy, Butcher, and Hughie proved that Homelander is not invincible and when the three of them partner up they are capable of restraining and even killing the show’s most powerful and feared villain.

Their fight managed to push Homelander to the edge, while also convincing Butcher and Hughie that they have to keep using the V formula even if it means that they’ll eventually become Supes themselves. Jensen Ackles’ revived WWII-era Supe character will surely bring more hilarious and impressive fight scenes in season 4 which has already been confirmed.
