Taylor Swift’s Eras tour has been something amazing, for fans and for the economy. But while everything has, more or less, gone off without a hitch for Swift (despite literal fan deaths, security issues, and more). But the issue that’s hit the media time and time again has been Swift’s wardrobe malfunctions. From broken heels to holes showing up in costumes, there’s a lot happening with the iconic garments; and to help with this, Swift is (allegedly) spending literal millions to ensure her Eras fashion stays iconic.
Per the Sun, apparently, Swift will be spending $4.3 million on hair, makeup, fashion, and wages for the members of her back-up band.
An external consultant with makeup and hair told the outlet that, “We are like an army. But everyone involved loves this kind of challenge…With such long shows and changes in temperature and humidity, we are always having to adapt.”
Apparently, for products alone, it’ll rack up to around $500,000, and the dancers’ costume budget is around $225,000.
But millions of dollars are coming in handy to fix outfits. “The fans also come to the concerts for the costumes, and the styles, but we often have to adjust and fix outfits,” an insider said to the outlet. “Because of the intensity of the dance movements, holes sometimes appear.”

Now, this isn’t too shocking when you remember she wears about $1.3 million worth of clothing (not including jewelry) every performance night, so it makes sense she’d have such a huge budget behind it to ensure it all goes smoothly, especially for her European leg of her tour.
Swift will be performing in Europe until late Aug, then she will then take a three month-long break before heading to Canada.
