Taylor Swift fans call out ‘abhorrent’ parenting after a baby is laid on the ground at Eras Tour concert and seems not to be okay. Does The Singer address the issue?

‘I would genuinely call security,’ one Swiftie declared.

Many of Taylor Swift’s fans are losing their minds after photos posted online showed what appeared to be a baby lying on the floor at a recent Eras Tour concert.

The photos surfaced after the “Cruel Summer” songstress performed her second of four consecutive shows in Paris at the Paris La Défense Arena as part of her ongoing international Eras Tour. The shows marked her return to performing following a two-month touring break and the release of her new album, The Tortured Poets Department, on April 19.

The photos began circulating on X, formerly Twitter, on Friday, May 10. The first photo showed what appeared to be an infant wearing the same kind of light-up bracelet at Swift’s first show in Paris on May 9. A fellow concert attendee photographed the baby as they lay on the ground close to a bag of Swift’s concert merchandise as people stood nearby.

One person appeared to be standing protectively over the baby in the first photo, with their feet planted on the ground and braced on either side of the baby’s legs. The second photo, taken from a different angle, seemed to show the baby wearing noise-reducing ear muffs as they were sprawled out on the ground.

“[G]et ur baby off the floor and GO HOME,” wrote X user @whatamind13, who shared the photos on social media. They later added a snapshot of the show’s packed general admission section and said the baby was “somewhere” on the same floor.

“Like WTF they have lost their minds! terrible parenting,” they added.

Others were quick to chime in with their thoughts on the incident.

“How dare they sleep during eras tour? Jkjk, idk I think having a baby at a GA concert is unfathomable to me… but the fact that they put them on the floor? like???? brain rot,” one person tweeted.

“Only in Paris you have a baby in the general pit area of the Taylor Swift Eras Tour. Showed this to a friend and they’re like ‘call child services,’” another said.

“This is abhorrent,” another person agreed.

“I have a baby and I couldn’t imagine bringing him to the PIT let alone setting him ON THE FLOOR???!! Like hold him???” one X user said.

“Not to be one of those people but I would genuinely call security if I saw a baby in the pit because it is NOT safe there,” another X user said.

Though some people on social media questioned whether the figure they saw on the floor was real, one person on X wrote that they had “IRL” seen the baby in question, which they referred to as “the famous Paris eras tour baby,” during the show.

“Just need to let yall know I saw this baby being carried around before the show with no ear protection and thought ‘oh they suck’ and now this?!” they tweeted after seeing the photos of the baby on the ground.
