Taylor Swift gasped for air while performing onstage during her Eras Tour after she accidentally swallowed a bug – yet again.

The incident happened as she sat at her piano singing a rendition of I Almost Do while she was giving a concert on Saturday, July 13, in Milan. A few moments after the number started she began coughing, telling the crowd that she needed a “second” to gather herself.

“I knew it would happen because there’s so many bugs here tonight. One sec, I just need to cough a little bit,” Taylor told the crowd.

After she eventually got her throat cleared she carried on performing and recovering from the shock moment. Unfortunately for the Bad Blood singer, inhaling an insect on stage hasn’t been just a one-time thing for her. She also swallowed bugs when she performed in Chicago and London.

The comical occurrences happened after she showed support for her NFL star boyfriend Travis Kelce’s recent achievements via social media. On social media, Taylor acknowledged Travis being placed at the top of a poll that ranked the best tight ends in the league.

The Grammy-winning chart-topper became well-versed in her boyfriend’s talents on the field last term, having attended 13 games involving the Chiefs. Taylor’s regular attendance at Travis’ games appeared to be something of a lucky charm for the Kansas City Chiefs too as they won ten times in her presence including in the Super Bowl showpiece.

With a third Super Bowl ring earned in his career, Travis’ stock has arguably never been higher. Not only is Travis widely considered to be one of the top players in his position of all time, but he has also now been credited for being one of the best tight ends in the league.

Travis earned that accolade after a poll run by ESPN, which took into account over 80 votes from coaches, executives, and scouts as they named their Top 10 tight ends. Despite some healthy competition from George Kittle of the San Francisco 49ers, Kelce was favored by the voters. Travis’ stats prove why he’s deserving of so much praise in the sports world.

He’s earned 51 receiving first downs and 65.6 yards per game in 2024. Additionally, his sterling displays in the playoffs also strengthened his credentials for recognition as he tallied up 32 catches for 355 yards and three touchdowns across his four post-season outings.

Following being named the leading player in his position in the NFL, it was clear that his girlfriend Taylor was proud of his efforts. Taking to Instagram, her account even liked a post from the @chiefs.talk account which heralded Kelce, reading: “Craziest like EVER.”
