Sources Claim Travis Kelce’s Ego Is Triggered When Taylor Swift Is Seen with These Individuals

Distance makes the heart grow fonder, and that definitely seems to be the case with beloved lovebirds Travis Kelce and Taylor Swift. But sources claim that while they’re apart, it seems Kelce is a bit jealous.

While insiders claim Swift is allegedly fearful over Kelce’s newfound success and uptick in gigs, sources are claiming Kelce has a fear about Swift’s lifestyle, as well. Apparently, according to sources and insiders, Kelce is allegedly jealous of Swift’s backup dancer, with whom she works nearly every night on tour.

“He trusts Taylor but that doesn’t mean he’s fine seeing her surrounded by all these hot guys,” the source told Life & Style. “He’s a very macho, Alpha-male guy, his ego gets triggered pretty easily, and even if these guys don’t stand a chance with her he still has major pangs of jealousy, especially when he sees her getting showered with attention by them.”

“He comes from the old-school mentality where other men are automatically competition so of course this gets under his skin, even if they do work for her,” the source added to the outlet. “You can bet he’ll be pushing for her to hire nothing but female dancers for her next tour.”

Jealousy can happen in relationships, it doesn’t mean it’s the end of the world; it’s all about how one responds to it and how the couple communicates. Sources have said the long-distance has been tough for both of them, but soon, they’ll both be on break, and we’re sure things can calm down then.

Speaking of, for those who don’t know, Kelce and Swift have been dating since July 2023, and since then, engagement rumors have been right around the corner for them.

In a previous appearance on The Pat McAfee Show in Jan 2024, he talked about how he helps cheer her on, and how it truly makes him feel amazing when she does.

“I love it when Taylor comes and supports me and enjoys the game with the fam and friends,” he said. “…We’re just two people supporting each other and having fun with it, man. It’s nothing more than that, and how much the world wants to paint the picture and make us the enemy, we just have fun with it, and we enjoy every single bit of it.”
