Melinda French Gates has recently claimed, according to a new book, that her encounter with Jerry Epstein at his home, was a rather unpleasant one, and that he had left her very ‘unsettled’. The disgraced financer was convicted of sexual offence but long before it, Melinda had despised his work relations with her then husband Bill Gates, which she also spoke about in an old interview in CBS from 2022.

Dinner with Epstein left Melinda unsettled

In a new book by Anupreeta Das, Bill and Melinda’s life and lies come out in public and is already creating massive controversies and ripple effects in public as the couple, although divorced now, have been one of the most followed couple for years. In the book, Melinda reveals that she had met Epstein exactly once in her life, during a dinner at his seven-storeyed mansion in New York.

She claimed that there were female figurines placed on the marble staircase of his mansion and were very suggestively dressed, while pictures of famous men and celebrities, hung on the walls. Another incident that had left her very uncomfortable back then were the rows of ‘framed eyeballs’ in his entrance hall, which he claimed had been made for injured soldiers from England. The book by Das went on to state that Gates found him ‘evil personified’ and abhorrent from the moment she had walked into his mansion.

Melinda was furious at her husband

Throughout the dinner, Melinda was sitting quite uncomfortable and later, angry at her husband for not cutting off his professional ties with him, as he was not someone Bill should be in business with. Bill Gates also claimed later that he had made a ‘big mistake’ by meeting with Epstein.
