Ever since HBO’s The Last of Us was released, there have been comparisons between it and AMC’s The Walking Dead. Between their protagonists, while I love Pedro Pascal’s Joel Miller, Andrew Lincoln’s Rick Grimes has to be the best out of the two. Lincoln made that role iconic, transforming Rick Grimes into one of the best lead characters in TV history. Since we know how The Last of Us franchise plays out, I don’t see Pascal’s Joel ever reaching that lasting status.
