It’s hard to get invested in a show when we don’t know how it’s going to perform. There’s some excellent news for Reacher fans when it comes to season 4.

Prime Video has always shown hope in the Reacher series, and it hasn’t been in vain. Within days of the first season premiering, the series was renewed for a second season. While the second season aired, we learned that the third season was in production. Well, there’s now great news about Reacher season 4.

Despite issues within the production companies, Prime Video is still showing support for the Reacher series. Season 3 won’t premiere until 2025, and we know that there will be a fourth season of the show.

Reacher season 4 is officially happening

The renewal came back in October 2024. It showed excellent support for the series, as there was absolutely no update on when the third season would arrive.

In some bad news, it means that we don’t know when Reacher season 4 will premiere. Tthe third season is set for a February 2025 premiere date. With that in mind, we’re probably looking at 2026 for the fourth season. After all, there is time now to jump into the filming of the show.

The renewal isn’t that surprising when you look at the numbers. Prime Video shared that the viewership for the first three episodes of Reacher season 2 grew 50% on the first season. Most shows see a dip in the ratings between seasons, so this shows that the fans are here for the show and new fans are intrigued and committed.

The Reacher universe continues to grow

This isn’t the only great news about the show’s future. The entire Reacher universe is growing on Prime Video. We have also learned that the Maria Sten spin-off series focused on her character Frances Neagley is officially happening.

There are no details on the spin-off series, either. This could arrive in late 2025, but we’re probably looking at early 2026 instead.
