Over the past few days, the Philippines has been beaming with pride after Filipino singer and former Tawag ng Tanghalan contestant Sofronio Vasquez took home the grand prize in the 26th season of The Voice.

Sofronio competed under the mentorship of Canadian singer-songwriter Michael Bublé since the season premiered in September.

“[B]elieve that you can, and manifest it with your whole heart,” Sofronio wrote on his Instagram account. “Dreams really do come true.”

Aside from his world-class talent, Sofronio also brought out the fashionista in him and showcased outfits as powerful as his performances.
