Elon Musk will not testify in the trial of Johnny Depp against Amber Heard, despite having been in a relationship with the actress

Elon Musk will not testify on behalf of ex-girlfriend Amber Heard in her defense of a $50 million lawsuit filed by Heard’s ex-husband Johnny Depp.

The Pirates of the Caribbean star filed a lawsuit against Heard after the actress wrote an opinion piece in 2018 saying she was ‘a public figure who represented domestic abuse.’

She did not mention Depp by name, but his lawyers argue that this is a reference to the actor, as she has previously claimed he was physically abusive towards her during their marriage.

Musk’s lawyer, Alex Spiro, confirmed to Fox News Digital that the Tesla boss will not take the stand despite being listed as a witness.

A security guard at a Los Angeles building where the former couple lived testified that he often saw Musk at their apartment in 2015. The SpaceX founder “always visited when Mr. Depp wasn’t home,” Alejandro Romero added.

Meanwhile, New York Post reported that actor James Franco, 44, will also not testify at the trial.

Depp has accused Franco of being one of Heard’s former partners while he was married to the actress.

She had also met James at their apartment in Los Angeles. /Telegraph/
