If you’ve been keeping tabs on the new spin-off, you’ll recognize Rick’s Civic Republic Military look right away. The statue stands at 12.4 inches tall and honestly looks like they pulled Rick straight from the screen and shrunk him down (not too much, but this is way bigger than their usual figures).
Straight Out Of CRM: The New Rick Grimes
The coolest part might be that you can swap Rick’s head to display him either rocking the full CRM helmet or showing off Andrew Lincoln’s battle-worn face underneath. His prosthetic hand (spoiler alert: Rick chops it off in the spin-off) made it into the design too, along with all the wear and tear you’d expect from someone who’s been fighting zombies for this long.
McFarlane’s really stepped up their game with this one. Unlike their regular action figures, this is a proper resin statue, scaled at 1:6, which gives it some serious presence on a shelf. They’ve gone all in on the details, every scratch and scuff on that uniform looks like it tells a story.
Now for the part that might make your wallet wince: this bad boy will set you back $429.68. Yeah, it’s not cheap, but McFarlane’s offering a Sezzle payment plan that breaks it into four payments of $107.42 if you don’t want to drop all that cash at once.
Each statue comes with its own number, which means once they’re gone, they’re gone. McFarlane hasn’t said exactly how many they’re making, but their runs tend to sell pretty quick. If you’re thinking about grabbing one, pre-orders are open now on their website.
Fair warning though, you’ll need some patience along with that payment plan. These statues won’t be shipping until June 2025. That’s quite a wait, but that’s pretty normal for high-end collectibles like this.
The statue’s announcement comes at a perfect time, with “The Ones Who Live” bringing Rick back into the spotlight. It’s wild to see how far the character’s come from his sheriff days – something this statue captures perfectly in all its CRM-uniformed glory.
Between the size, the swappable parts, and just how detailed this thing is, it’s clear McFarlane wanted to do something special for Rick’s return to The Walking Dead universe. Whether that’s worth the price tag and the wait, ah well, that probably depends on how much shelf space you’ve already dedicated to the apocalypse.
