Massive Twist: The Lincoln Lawyer Season 4 Casts Key Prosecutor from The Law of Innocence!

Now, Deadline has confirmed Constance Zimmer will be portraying prosecutor Dana Berg in The Lincoln Lawyer season 4, an important character from The Law of Innocence. Dana is described as a former colleague of Maggie’s (Neve Campbell), who holds the nickname “Death Row Dana” because of her tenacious prosecution style. Zimmer will portray the character across all 10 episodes of the upcoming season, being a central figure as Mickey’s case goes to trial.
What Zimmer’s Casting Means For The Lincoln Lawyer Season 4
Dana Is Going To Be A Dangerous Adversary

Zimmer portrayed another character with the same first name, Dana Gordon, on HBO’s Entourage, one of the first roles she became well-known for. Since then she’s appeared as plenty of recognizable TV characters, such as Claire Simms in Boston Legal and Janine Skorsky on the cast of House of Cards. Her most decorated role was as Quinn King in Unreal, netting her four major awards nominations, including an Emmy for Outstanding Supporting Actress in a Drama Series. Her latest roles have been as Anna Harvey in The Calling and Shira Bolitar in Harlan Coben’s Shelter.
Her presence in The Lincoln Lawyer season 4 is a welcome addition, while also proving dangerous for Mickey as he navigates his legal defense. Dana’s willingness to do whatever it takes to get a conviction is similar to how the title character will go above and beyond in defending his clients. The duo are two clashing sides of the law, with the prosecutor likely proving to be a more ruthless opponent than Andy (Yaya DaCosta) when she was on the other side.
Our Take On The Lincoln Lawyer Season 4’s New Prosecutor
Zimmer’s Portrayal of Dana Will No Doubt Be Memorable

Since she’ll be appearing in every episode of season 4, Dana’s tactics will be a thorn in the team’s side as they try and prove the protagonist’s innocence. While Lorna (Becki Newton) will likely be taking a leadership role, given she recently passed the California bar exam, she’ll be up against a very tough opponent for one of her first cases ever. This means Zimmer’s character could clash with her in particular, as The Lincoln Lawyer gives Mickey’s team more of a spotlight while they try and set him free.
The Lincoln Lawyer author Michael Connelly also writes the Harry Bosch series, which serves as the basis for Prime Video’s Bosch and Bosch: Legacy.
