AMC and Netflix formed a deal in 2011 to host several AMC originals on the streamer. This deal included The Walking Dead, Breaking Bad, and Mad Men, which has since been removed. According to reports, this deal will ensure that TWD will be available on Netflix through 2027.

The great thing about the main series deal is that it could easily be extended due to the ongoing partnership with AMC and Netflix. in Aug. 2024, this collaboration extended to bring 13 more AMC series to the streamer.
