The Walking Dead was one of the most compelling shows to hit screens throughout its eleven seasons but, seemingly, the long-running actor from the AMC post-apocalyptic series who plays Carl Grimes thinks that Arcane takes the top spot over them all, including his own. The Walking Dead is already over 14 years old since it first premiered with that iconic scene of Rick waking up in an empty hospital after being in a coma for weeks, unaware of what was happening to the world outside. To showcase how much he loves Netflix’s Arcane, Chandler Riggs has taken to his social media account to express a very interesting opinion about the League of Legends animated series. In his tweet, Riggs announced that he thought Arcane was the best show ever, including any other live-action or animated series. Due to Arcane‘s popularity and its return for its second and last season, many would agree with Riggs, but it’s also a slightly surprising response since he was a part of such an iconic show as The Walking Dead, which drew in millions of viewers each week for many years.

Granted, The Walking Dead did begin to slip in viewership in its latter seasons due to underwhelming narrative choices, especially causing outrage when the show killed off Glenn, one of its most popular characters, but it seems that Riggs has enjoyed Arcane so much that he may have forgotten all about how great his own show once was. Thankfully for Riggs, more stories are reportedly going to happen after Arcane, which could see a huge world of League of Legends lore begin to open up.

As for The Walking Dead franchise, it has been enjoying plenty of spin-offs, which have included the recently concluded Fear the Walking Dead and the ongoing adventure of the crossbow-wielding Daryl in The Walking Dead: Daryl Dixon. For fans who are wondering what is happening with The Walking Dead: Dead City, otherwise known as the “Maggie and Negan spinoff”, AMC has officially ordered season two of the show, which hopefully should start filming soon.
