SUCCESSION IS LONG over, and we don’t know if Euphoria will ever return for season 3, but the spirit of two of HBO’s most popular series of the last decade is alive and well with Industry. The show, which comes from co-creators (and former bankers!) Mickey Down and Konrad Kay, manages to capture the business setting and cutthroat nature of the former, and mesh it with the youthful debauchery depicted in the latter; the result is one of the most enjoyable, intense, and compelling shows on TV, and it’s never been better than in its third season.
On top of returning cast members Myha’la, Harry Lawtey, Marisa Abela, and Ken Leung (among others), Industry gets a couple major additions from the HBO world for its third season: Kit Harington, of course best known for his role as Jon Snow in Game of Thrones, and Sarah Goldberg, best known for Barry, both join the cast. And adding a pair of top-notch Emmy nominees certainly helps the show rise to new heights in season 3. If you were along the ride for season 1 and season 2, get ready to buckle your seatbelt and lock in for eight episodes that you won’t be able to look away from.
The wild thing about Industry—and this was true at times in Succession as well—is that it really doesn’t even matter if you know or don’t know a single thing about the banking and financial interactions that take place; the way the show is written and the environments are written make it so that the stakes are totally felt whenever something dramatic is happening, even if we don’t know what’s being traded or how much money someone is gaining or losing.
That’s a mark of a great show; it can be about anything, but as long as the stakes are right and we care about the characters, it’s going to be a great time. That’s why you’re not going to want to miss a single episode of Industry season 3, and below, we’ve got you covered to make sure that never happens.
When is the next episode of Industry season 3 coming out?
Industry season 3 episodes will air on HBO on Sunday nights at 9:00 PM EST, and be available to stream on Max at the same time. The next episode will be available on Sunday, September 15.
